OF.LINE Draws Luxury Into the Bathing Space

According to research, bathrooms can be one of the most expensive home renovations of 2024. While it may be tempting to cut corners when it comes to outfitting the space, finding the right accessories will not only make the room more functional for daily use but also elevate the experience to that akin of a luxury spa. Designer Sebastian Herkner and leading German manufacturer of bath accessories Decor Walther are making it easier to replicate that extravagant ambience in your own home with the OF.LINE collection, unveiled at this year’s Salone del Mobile during Milan Design Week 2024.

The series of timeless bathroom accessories is characterized by a material meet-up of aluminum and porcelain. “We selected particular sensual and authentic materials, such as solid aluminum, rather than tubular aluminum,” Herkner explains. “Porcelain is a very honest material in terms of production, and the glaze lends the design a handcrafted touch.” Inspired by architectural buildings like Marina City in Chicago, the ribbed edge on the aluminum creates a subtle interplay of light and shadow. The porcelain is handmade by traditional artisans in Bavaria and joins with its aluminum counterparts in Offenbach, Germany, where Herkner and Decor Walther are both based. It was only fitting to name the collection, OF.LINE, an homage to their city.

The collection consist of classic bathroom accessories including soap dispensers, soap bowls, towel holders, toilet brushes, paper towel boxes, storage strays, and storage boxes. All of them are available in three colors: aqua, champagne, and mocha.
